This is a lighter coffee ice cream recipe that involves no cooking. Simply mix the ingredients and you’re set. This was one of my favorites as a child, but there’s nothing child-like about the scrumptious flavor!
2 egg yolks
2/3 C of sugar
1 C of cream
1 ½ C of milk
1 Tbsp of instant coffee
1 Tbsp of Dutch-processed cocoa
Whisk egg yolks and sugars until mixture is thick and white.
Add cream and milk, mix well.
Mix in coffee and cocoa and whisk until very smooth.
